Welcome to the Animal Kingdom Gallery, where you'll find my attempt to capture the spirit of some of my most favorite subjects. Animals have always had a special something that has captured a part of my soul in a big way, and at the core of my animal related work is a strong belief and hope that they will always be respected, protected, preserved, and celebrated.

Wildlife and animal art is truly my first love, as it combines the two areas dear to my heart. Sometimes I've gotten the vibe that wildlife art or realistic animal art isn't looked on with as much favor by the art world, but I chalk that up to one of its' shortcomings that we animal loving artists should continue to challenge (and 'show up' *smile*).

There is power, beauty, grace, expression, strength of bonds, and feeling in the whole of the Animal Kingdom that should never be underestimated, and which I love to see celebrated in creative forms as well as through education, cultivation of respect, taking an active role in protecting all that shares our world, speaking and fighting for those without the voice we recognize in 'man/woman's' world, and recognizing their unique and valued place within it. It's that and so much more that I hope to capture in my work...and then let that go free in your minds.
